For a long time now, VanGogh is one of my favorite artists. I love the way he used to draw using the paintbrush and in the end the oiltube to create these especially vivid colours :)
I don't remember when I started this style... but this was the very first picture in a row I've done this way. Maybe at these moments of creativity (I did it in a rush) I was inspired by his gorgeous genious. I've done it for a special person I admired at this time in November 2006. So I only got this photo I've taken :) (so... please excuse me for the bad quality!!!!)

Its size is about 12 x 10 inches I think...
I worked mainly with acryl colours



I did not show this to anyone so far, because of a lack of self-esteem. I was really afraid of all the comments that might be written by you guys out there (sorry! ^^ Although I know, no one will bite me!) . But now I encouraged myself enough to show my style of painting and ... the changes in my life that came with it. There will follow newer paintings ... if ... ^^ erm... well, you like it? :)

I really don't understand why you didn't show this picture before. It's beautiful, I like it!

I don't know much about van Gogh and of course I am no art critic but in my (modest) opinion I think you should show us more paintings of yours :)

Sehr schöne farben :)
Auch die bewegung der Pinselstriche wirkt richtig hm.. naja... elegant oder so.

Auf jedenfall gefällt mir das ganze, auch wenn das blau in der mitte "seltsam" ist, so rundet es das ganze doch total ab und gibt dem bild einen wirklich faznierenden blick. Man kann sehr lange draufgucken, und es wird nicht langweilig ;)

Sehr gute arbeit !

Ich glaube das Blau, Galax, ist die Andeutung eines Sees hinter den Blumen :)

Mein Laienauge könnte es wohl nicht von einem Original unterscheiden. *g* Du hast die typische Van Gogh Linienführung toll hinbekommen, Lilly! ^^
Mein Vater ist totaler Van Gogh Fan, daher kenne ich seine Bilder ganz gut ^^

Ich mag die Farbkombination hier sehr. Du solltest wirklich mehr Bilder in diesem Stil malen! :)

Es freut mich sehr, dass es dir so gut gefällt und nicht langweilig ist ^^ Das blau in der Mitte... ja da habe ich lange überlegt, bzw. eigentlich hat es mit blau angefangen und alles darum arangiert. Ich mag die farben sehr, grün - blau - gelb :)

Ein richtiges VanGoghBild ist es noch lange nicht, dafür fehlt mir noch viel zu viel ^^ Aber es ist ein schönes Kompliment!

Ein zweiter van Gogh wäre ja auch langweilig ;) Du orientierst dich an ihm und bringst durch deine Ideen ganz neue Perspektiven ein. Dein eigener Stil also.
Bleib auf diesem Weg, dann gewinnt nicht nur dein Selbstvertrauen sondern auch dein künstlerisches Können ungemein an Wert :)
